Young Adult/College-Age Testing
Palmetto Assessments and Learning Services offers evaluations for individuals up to age 25, as well as those currently attending college or graduate school. If you are 18 or over, we encourage you to explore our website for answers to questions and you may schedule a free consultation to ensure if our services are right for you. Depending on your needs, an evaluation typically includes assessments in the following areas:
Cognitive/Intellectual Ability
Academic Achievement
Self and Observer Rating Scales
Developmental History
Interviews
Observations
Assessments specific to concerns (ADHD, Autism, etc.)
Once you turn 18, you have legal rights to all health-related information and activities. However, we do encourage clients to collaborate with their parents/guardians (if possible) to help with completing paperwork such as the developmental history.
The typical cost of an evaluation is $1500-$2100. Palmetto Assessments and Learning Services does not accept insurance. We are an out of network provider for all insurance companies. Upon request, we can provide a Superbill, which can be submitted to insurance for possible reimbursement. We do accept FSA & HSA Card Payments. It is essential you contact your insurance company for any questions regarding coverage prior to any evaluation meetings being scheduled if you wish to seek reimbursement.
