Palmetto Assessments and Learning Services (PALS) provides comprehensive, easy-to-understand psycho-educational evaluations for individuals ages 2 to 26+ across South Carolina’s Upstate/Central and Lowcountry regions. Led by Licensed Psycho-Educational Specialists, we identify learning disabilities, autism, ADHD, anxiety, depression, giftedness, and other mental health or processing concerns, translating these complex profiles into highly accessible reports. We deliver practical recommendations for therapies, resources, and school-based supports, highlighting individual strengths to empower families to confidently navigate the educational system and access the exact resources they need to thrive.

Our Process

Consultation
Psycho-educational evaluations typically begin with a complimentary phone consultation to discuss your evaluation needs.

Intake
Collaborative interview with parents or individual (young adult) to explore your or your child’s strengths and areas of growth.

Testing
Testing includes direct in-person testing appointments, observations, and gathering input from parents and educators.

Feedback
Conference with individual or parents to review psycho-educational report including all findings, diagnoses, and interventions.
