Psycho-educational Testing

At PALS, our evaluations for children and adults are grounded in a modern neuropsychological framework, emphasizing a thorough understanding of each individual’s cognitive, academic, and social/emotional profile. By considering the "whole person," we assess how someone thinks, learns, and interacts with the world, focusing on the brain-based skills that drive daily performance, learning, behavior, and emotional regulation. Our approach highlights unique strengths and uncovers areas that may impact functioning in school or daily life.

With over 16 years of experience in educational and collegiate settings throughout South Carolina, our team conducts psycho-educational evaluations that are both clinically rigorous and tailored to each individual’s unique context. We use this information to develop practical, evidence-based recommendations, including interventions and accommodations that support meaningful progress. Our approach goes beyond diagnosis—emphasizing strengths and delivering actionable strategies that can be implemented immediately. Our goal is to offer clear guidance to help individuals navigate educational, professional, and social environments at any stage of life.

Rather than focusing on a single disability or diagnosis, our assessments capture the full spectrum of cognitive, academic, behavioral, and social/emotional functioning. This holistic approach allows us to identify and address multiple factors contributing to an individual's challenges, ensuring our recommendations are comprehensive and meaningful.
